As we transition to normal operations we are asking that those wishing to make donations utilize First Baptist Church of Pinehurst located at 7373 NC-211, West End, NC 27376.

West End Fire and Rescue would like to sincerely thank ALL of those that have assisted us this past week. We are extremely proud of how our community has rallied to assist those in Western North Carolina impacted by Hurricane Helene.

From our crew of (4) that Deployed to Marion, NC to our Fulltime / Parttime / Volunteer members who assisted with the collection, sorting, packing, loading trailers and delivery of items to the Sugar Mountain, Banner Elk, Beech Mountain, Newland, Grandfather and Linville communities we are eternally grateful.

We also would like to thank ALL of our community members who made donations as well as those who assisted with sorting, packing, loading trailers and delivery.

I am overwhelmed and humbled by the outpouring of support to "Help thy neighbor" / "Help those who can not help themselves (currently)"
