Boaters on Lake Sequoia in Seven Lakes North spotted a house that was on fire Saturday afternoon.

West End Fire and Rescue were the first units on scene at Cobblestone Lane followed by Seven Lakes Fire and Rescue.

The front bedroom of the home suffered heavy fire damage. The rest of the home sustained smoke damage.
No one was home when the blaze broke out. Red Cross is assisting the residents.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.

Assisting on scene were Eastwood Fire and Rescue, Moore County Emergency Management, and Moore County Sheriff’s Department.
